Campfire at home
Children love to make campfire at home in a fire place built out of our old leftover bricks. Of course with lots of water aside, so that they can put out the fire just in time.
My big son wanted to test the loupe. He was interested, how long it would take to set fire with the loupe. It took loooong, and it wasn’t very successful, mostly just smoke, but not fire.
At the end we could bake some bread and layered cake (Baumkuchen, kürtös kalács) on coal fire.
