Ahoy! Captain!
My dear sons…, they love to do handicrafts. We actually do a makeover in our garden, where I had an old raised bed, but unfortunately it got broken. So we chopped it in little pieces and I already wanted it to throw away. But my big son had the idea of a raft and ship and my little son wanted to make a campfire from the pieces. We had enough for both projects…
First he just bound the parts with yarn and glued the canvas to piece of wood. They played a pirate attack game… Five minutes later the ship was in little pieces, again.
The second version had two canvases and was made using nails and screws. My little son made a lifesaver. This ship had a long life, abut one week. It began to fall into pieces.
At 7:30 a.m. I was making a breakfast and bang-bang-bang. What is that? My little son decided to make his own little ship, alone. A lifeboat for the big ship…
He designed a bigger one, too. I helped him to screw the parts together, but he told me where they go.
Both of them made a great campfire in the end… But the wood was too dry and weak for them to last.
