Garden of ladybugs

I love ladybugs! They are so beautiful. As we moved from the big city to this little town, there were just yellow ladybugs with lot of spots in our garden, but in the last two years I see more and more seven-spot ladybugs. In Autumn I collected the leaves of our magnolia tree with my sons for the raised garden bed. It is a fifty years old tree, so it has lot of leaves. My sons found ladybugs again and again between the leaves (seven of them). They thought, it would be a great place for winter. In front of our house there is a little stone garden with lot of plants and some ladybugs already lived there, so the boys put the ladybugs, they just found, carefully between the plants. Good night lovely ladybugs (said my little son)! And in Spring? There they were! My little son was very very happy, they were awake, all seven :-). They live in our stone garden and as we saw.

Now Autumn again, November. Rainy, mild and 15 Celsius, it is too warm to sleep for the ladybugs. They are all over in the garden!
